Rémi, also known as Rémi the blue Aussie by his Instagram fans, is a happy go lucky boy. He is an Australian Shepherd out of working lines and was flown all the way from Alberta, Canada to live with us here in Nova Scotia! He came to us as an 8 week old little ball of fluff, and it was love at first sight.
Because he is from working lines, he requires lots of exercise and stimulation to keep him happy. Not to worry though – he has started agility and loves it. He also enjoys a good game of fetch or frisbee and is always up for an adventure! Mental exercise (like trick training, hide and seek, and food games) is also something we do lots of in our house. Rémi also loves playing with other dogs and meeting new friends – dog or human! Rémi does not get any human food or kibble, he is raw fed and is thriving. What’s his favourite treat? I’d have to say freeze dried liver.
Rémi also always wants to be with his mama (breed trait – aka velcro dog), so unless I am at work or somewhere that isn’t dog friendly, you will likely find us together. We try to include him in as many things as we can. Together we love hiking, going to the barn to visit the horses, going to the beach or basically anything that involves adventuring outside!
