How to Tire Your Dog During the Winter

For obvious reasons, your dog probably tends to get more physical activity during the summer months than during the winter months. Lets be honest, nobody wants to go outsite, especially when it’s freezing cold and snowing (myself included).

For some reason, most dogs love the snow. When we take Rémi out for a pee, it always ends with him rolling and playing in the snow. I’m convinced that half the time, he actually doesn’t have to go, he just wants to play in the snow. BUT what if you could take your dog out to play and also have fun at the same time?!

Carter’s Beach, NS

I have been wanting to write a blog post about Carter’s Beach for a while now. Although the beach is not huge, its definitely one of my favourites. The sand is so white and the water is clear blue, making you feel as though you are down south (until you dip your toes into our Nova Scotia ocean anyway, lol!)

Located in Port Mouton, NS, Carter’s Beach is the perfect place to go if you want a quiet place to relax. It is also a great place to go if you are on the hunt for sand dollars.
